Alexander S. Travis, President of Medallion Capital, has over 10 years of private equity, investment banking and institutional asset management experience. Prior to joining MCI, Alex was responsible for new business development at Northstar Capital, a Minneapolis-based subordinated debt fund focused primarily on private equity-backed lower middle market transactions. Prior to that, Alex held positions with Aviva Investors and Churchill Capital, and began his career in Minneapolis with Piper Jaffray & Co. Alex holds a B.S. in Finance from Iowa State University.
