Bio

Mr. Breckenridge co-founded Med Opportunity Partners, LLC, an operating oriented private equity firm focused on the health care sector, in 2006. From 1993 to 2006, Mr. Breckenridge was a partner at UBS Capital Americas, LLC, a private equity firm with $1.0 billion of committed capital and affiliated with UBS AG, and leader of its health care investing efforts. Mr. Breckenridge joined UBS Capital Americas upon its formation in 1993. Since 1997, Mr. Breckenridge led UBS Capital Americas’ investment efforts in the healthcare and life science sectors. Mr. Breckenridge has originated, executed and led $85 million of investments in bio-pharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, and medical device / medical technology related investments. Including non-healthcare investments, Mr. Breckenridge has overseen and participated in private equity transactions aggregating over $2 billion in total value since 1993 and equity investments of $195 million. Mr. Breckenridge led the acquisition of Pfanstiehl, Inc. in 2013 and led UBS Capital Americas’ majority recapitalization investment in Avail Medical Products, Inc. Mr. Breckenridge earned a MBA from Columbia University and a BA from Colgate University. Mr. Breckenridge serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Pfanstiehl, Inc.
