Prior to joining MBF and starting in 2002, Fowad served in numerous roles for North Texas Specialty Physicians (NTSP), a Fort Worth, Texas based IPA, culminating in his selection as the Chief Executive Officer of the company and a member of its Board of Directors in 2014. As CEO, Fowad led the strategic growth and expansion of NTSP’s MA footprint in both the Texas and North Carolina markets, to over 85,000 MA members and more than 1,700 contracted physicians. He was also responsible for the launch of several of NTSP’s healthcare companies, including an HCC coding company, an IT/HIE company, and an MA plan. In 2018, NTSP completed the successful sale of NTSP and its subsidiaries, to a Texas not-for-profit, clinically integrated network
