Steve assists in the overall management of the firm and is responsible for development of investment theses, due diligence, deal structuring, negotiations and transaction execution. Prior to founding May River Capital, Steve was a Partner at Baker & McKenzie, a leading global law firm. Steve's practice focused on mergers and acquisitions ranging from middle market U.S. transactions to multi-billion dollar, multi-country international transactions. Prior to his time at Baker, Steve was an Associate with Katten Muchin Rosenman. Steve holds a B.A. from Yale University and a J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School.
