Bio

Brendon is an Associate Partner with Maverix Private Equity. He is focused on leading deal execution including financial modelling and leading due diligence. Brendon also works closely with portfolio companies in strategic and financial management as well as the evaluation of add-on acquisitions opportunities. Prior to joining Maverix, Brendon worked as Managing Director, Home Concierge at Amica Senior Lifestyles where he launched and served as the executive leader of a private pay, multi-geography home health service. Previously, Brendon worked at the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (OTPP) in the Private Equity division where he worked in both the Healthcare and Consumer groups. His portfolio companies included Heartland Dental, Phymed Healthcare Group, Amica Senior Lifestyles, Traeger, Inc. (NYSE: COOK), Bass Pro Shops and 24 Hour Fitness. Prior to OTPP, Brendon started his career with Eventi Capital Partners, where he evaluated growth equity investment opportunities and partnered with portfolio companies to execute on their strategic initiatives. Brendon is a graduate of Richard Ivey School of Business where he earned his Honors Business Administration degree. Outside of work, Brendon enjoys playing board games, working out with friends and is part of a monthly book club.
