Bio

Paul is Managing Director of Maui Capital and Chairman of the Investment Committees of the Maui Capital Indigo Fund and Maui Capital Aqua Fund. Paul has managed four private equity funds since 2002. Since establishing Maui in 2008, he has managed Maui’s Aqua Fund (2012) and Indigo Fund (2008). Prior to that, Paul was Head of Private Equity at Goldman Sachs JBWere (NZ), where he established and had overall management responsibility for that firm’s private equity activities, including as Principal Executive Director of the Hauraki No.1 and No.2 Funds. Paul is currently a director of Maui investee companies Partners Life and Equipment Leasing & Finance. He is a past director of various other businesses including Norfolk Group, Hirepool and Tiri Group among others.
