Christopher Kan is a Senior Controller within Makena’s Financial Operations team. Chris oversees the daily accounting and financial operations across the firm’s funds and manages the relationships with key vendors. Prior to joining Makena in 2014, Chris was a Senior Account Manager at CITCO Fund Services, a fund administrator in San Francisco, where he oversaw the reconciliation and accounting functions for an alternative credit and energy-focused client. Chris earned a B.A. in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Davis.
