Bio

Kia Ghorashi, a Managing Director, is responsible for supporting portfolio management and manager selection for Makena’s listed equity and venture capital investments. Prior to Makena, Kia was an associate at RiceHadleyGates LLC, a strategy consulting firm founded by former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, National Security Advisor Stephen Hadley, and Secretary of Defense Robert Gates. Kia received a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Virginia, an M.A. in International Relations from Stanford University, and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
