As partner of Main Capital Partners, Pieter is responsible for the Benelux investment team. Moreover, Pieter is head of the Market Intelligence and Performance Improvement practices. Pieter first started at Main Capital Partners in 2004 as a Business Analyst. From there he rapidly developed himself and became a partner with principal responsibility for the Benelux investment team. Pieter is knowledgeable and hands-on, and is involved with the entire investment process from deal flow sourcing, fundraising, financial structuring all the way to investment management. Pieter has a profound interest in software businesses as well as enterprise SaaS companies. On behalf of Main Capital Partners, Pieter is a member of the Supervisory Board of TPSC, Onguard, Ymor, Inergy and GOconnectIT. He was responsible partner on successful trade sales, such as IASO (GFISolarWinds/Insight Ventures), VisionWaves (IFS Software), Connexys (Bullhorn/Vista Equity Partners) and Axxerion (Nemetschek AG [ticker: XETRA NEM.DE]) and Verklizan (Enovation). Pieter holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the Erasmus University Rotterdam, and an MBA from Carleton University, Canada.
