Surya oversees all investment activities at Madison India Capital Management. He has approximately twenty five years of private equity investment experience in business services, financial services, consumer, healthcare and technology industries. He has served on the board of directors of several companies in India and the U.S. Prior to joining the firm, Surya worked in the private equity investment group at Sandler Capital. Previously, Surya worked at HarbourVest Partners as well as the Investment Banking Group at Morgan Stanley. He has an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, a B.A. from Hamilton College and a B.S. from Columbia University.
