Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Reing was a Managing Director at The Carlyle Group. She was with Carlyle from 2011-2020 and held several positions across the firm. Most recently, she was the Deputy Global Head of Fund Management. As part of leading the business operations across the Private Equity, Real Assets and Credit segments for the firm, she oversaw Carlyle's Luxembourg platform and was a board member for their Alternative Investment Fund Manager (AIFM). She also served as the Interim CFO of their Global Credit segment which managed nearly $50 billion in assets. Previously, she was the firm’s Global Corporate Controller and oversaw its corporate accounting teams in the U.S., London, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Sao Paulo. From 2011-2014, she oversaw the Global Real Assets Partnership Accounting team. Prior to joining Carlyle, Ms. Reing was Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller of Interstate Hotels & Resorts and was responsible for corporate and joint venture accounting, external and regulatory reporting as well as corporate budgeting and forecasting. Prior to joining Interstate, she was Chief Financial Officer for CapStar Hotel Company, a hotel investment company. Previously she was Vice President and Corporate Controller for Analex Corporation. Ms. Reing also held senior management positions with NVR Inc. and MeriStar Hospitality Corporation. She began her career with the public accounting firm Deloitte & Touche LLP. Ms. Reing is currently a board member and Treasurer of McLean Youth Soccer and was also a board member and Treasurer of Calvary Women's Services, a non-profit organization, that provides housing and support services for homeless women. She holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland.
