Rick founded Longmeadow Capital in 1993, and has been actively involved in all of its principal investments. From 1994 through 1996, Rick acted as CEO for Poland Communications, Inc., Poland’s largest cable television provider. From 1998 to 2004, he was also a founder and managing partner of Summer Street Capital Partners, LLC, a $100 million private equity fund focused on later-stage middle market companies. Prior to founding Longmeadow Capital, Rick worked at Chase Enterprises, a highly successful, privately held investment firm based in Hartford, Connecticut where he held a variety of senior management positions, including CEO of several business segments and CFO for the organization. In his varying capacities, Rick had senior management authority for the company’s real estate and communications businesses, as well as responsibility for the company’s capital markets transactions, banking relationships and investment portfolio. Rick received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
