Bio

Craig is responsible for identifying management teams across the Midlands that would benefit from private equity backing to help drive their growth ambitions. He also works closely with the portfolio of businesses LDC supports across the Midlands to help uncover complementary acquisition opportunities. Craig has worked at LDC for five years, during which he has originated a number of investments including Blis, Zip World, Panther Logistics and two strategic acquisitions for Midlands manufacturer Stuart Turner. An economics graduate from Manchester University, Craig also has a MA in International Business Management from Newcastle University. He began his career at Clearwater Corporate Finance, before joining Grant Thornton and then headed up the Public Equities division of private equity-backed AlphaSights, a role he held for three years. Craig has also worked for a private equity-backed technology-led marketing business, Inspired Thinking Group, as a Business Development Director.
