Daniel joined Lion Equity as an Analyst in 2012. His primary responsibilities include financial analysis, due diligence, and monitoring portfolio company performance. Prior to joining Lion Equity, Daniel was a Senior Consultant on the Communications, Media and Entertainment team at FTI Consulting. At FTI, Daniel was part of engagement teams providing restructuring support, interim management, investment banking services, M&A advisory, performance improvement and other services. Daniel started his career as a Research Analyst at Smith Breeden Associates. At Smith Breeden, Daniel was responsible for developing proprietary trading models and maintaining the interface between the analytics and the trade floor. Daniel graduated with a BS in Business Administration (Emphasis in Finance) and BA in Economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He was honored as the Outstanding Graduate of the Leeds School of Business. Daniel is a CFA® charterholder.
