Bio

Cipriano Santisteban, a Partner, joined Linzor in 2010. Mr. Santisteban was one of the founding partners of Palmfund Management LLC, leading its investment efforts in México. Prior to joining Palmfund, he partnered with an experienced management team and financial sponsors in order to acquire and manage companies in the Mexican disposable tableware industry, thus building Grupo Convermex. In the late nineties, Mr. Santisteban worked as Principal at Promecap, a Mexican company that managed MSIF, a $500 million sister fund of Soros Private Equity Fund Management. While at Promecap, Mr. Santisteban analyzed, managed and made investments in various sectors of the Mexican economy including manufacturing and services companies. Previously, Mr. Santisteban worked as fixed income trader for Banco Nacional de México. He also managed, as CEO, the turnaround of a small family owned business. Mr. Santisteban has served on the board of directors of Consorcio Optico Latino Americano, SAPI de CV, TIP de México, SAPI de CV, Legal Publishing N.A. B.V., Grupo Convermex S.A. de C.V., Grupo Deco Nacional S.A. de C.V., Global Cup S.A. de C.V., Unidad Surcos Largos S.A. de C.V. and Industrial Papelera Venus S.A. de C.V. Furthermore, he has developed real estate projects in Mexico, mainly in high income housing. Mr. Santisteban is a Mexican national with 20 years of experience in Mexico as a manager and investment officer Mr. Santisteban holds a BA in Economics from the Instituto Tecnológico Autonomo de México, graduating with the highest honors, and an MBA from Stanford University earning the Arjay Miller Scholar award for graduating in the top 10% of his class.
