Bio

Patrick Lauria joined the Lime Rock team in 2006 and is now the Director of Tax Structuring and Assistant Counsel in the firm’s Westport office. In his current role as Director of Tax Structuring, his responsibilities include leading the investment teams’ tax due diligence, planning, and structuring efforts, as well as devising tax efficient exit strategies, with respect to all investment transactions across Lime Rock’s core strategies. In addition to his tax structuring role, Patrick plays a key role in managing Lime Rock’s contracts, regulatory compliance, business structuring, fund formations, fundraising, secondaries, AML/KYC compliance, and other legal needs. Prior to joining Lime Rock, he was a tax manager at Gruss Asset Management, a New York based hedge fund company and family office. He also worked as a member of the alternative asset management practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and Ernst & Young LLP where he specialized in providing tax planning, consulting, and compliance services to hedge funds, private equity funds, fund sponsors, institutional investors, and foreign investors on domestic and international investments across various strategies and industries. He is a graduate of St. Joseph’s College (B.S. in accounting), Long Island University (M.S. in taxation), Touro Law School (J.D.), and Regent University (LL.M. in international taxation).
