Bio

Richard “Rich” Sexton is a Partner and Co-founder at LDR Growth Partners, where he leads prospective deal research, design, and analysis. His areas of focus at LDR are early-stage entrepreneurship and internal business operations and strategy. Prior to LDR, Rich served in the United States Army as an Airborne Ranger-qualified Infantry Officer with a combat deployment to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, where he was awarded a Bronze Star. His last job in the military was as a Special Operations representative in the U.S. Embassy in Lima, Peru. Rich is an ambassador and board member of Operation Pay It Forward as well as E210. Rich earned his undergraduate degree in Finance from Mercer University and a Global MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. Rich resides in Washington, D.C. with his wife Ana and their son, Paul, and enjoys making dad jokes that only he laughs at and having long-winded conversations on current hot social topics.
