Alek Blankenau is a Vice President of LCM and is responsible for sourcing, executing and managing investments across healthcare industry sectors. Mr. Blankenau was previously a Vice President at Lone Star Investment Advisors, a Texas based middle-market private equity firm. While at Lone Star Investment Advisors, Mr. Blankenau was responsible for due diligence, transaction execution, portfolio company financing, and portfolio monitoring. Mr. Blankenau worked closely with management teams to implement strategic initiatives while monitoring investments in Inter-American Oil Works, Trinity Forge, ESP Specialty Steel, and Concrete Related Products. Prior to Lone Star Investment Advisors, Mr. Blankenau worked at Cogent Partners, an investment bank specializing in secondary market transactions. Mr. Blankenau graduated with a BA in Economics from Harvard University.
