Evan Brainerd is a Partner at L Squared Capital Partners. Evan previously worked in investment banking as a Partner and Managing Director at William Blair & Company. While advising on strategic M&A transactions and capital raises throughout the past 10 years, he worked closely with technology and technology-enabled services companies and private equity firms. Prior to joining William Blair, Evan served for nine years as an officer in the United States Army. He led combat aviation operations on deployments to both Iraq and Afghanistan. Evan holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MA in Chinese Studies from the University of Hawai’i, and a BS in Economics from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
