Bio

Mr. Dahnke is a Global Co-CEO of L Catterton. Mr. Dahnke has a broad range of business experience in private equity, consulting, operating management and finance. Prior to joining L Catterton nearly 20 years ago, he was a Managing Director at DB Capital Partners, the private equity arm of Deutsche Bank, where he focused exclusively on the consumer sector. Previously he was a Managing Director at AEA Investors, where he led that firm’s investing efforts in the consumer sector. Prior to joining AEA Investors, Mr. Dahnke was the Chief Executive Officer of infoUSA (now infoGROUP), a leading NASDAQ-traded provider of business and consumer marketing products and services (since taken private). Prior to joining infoUSA, Mr. Dahnke worked with consumer clients on a wide array of strategic and operational opportunities as a Partner in McKinsey & Company’s Chicago office. His early career also includes experience in the Merger Department of Goldman, Sachs & Co. and with General Motors. Mr. Dahnke received a B.S., magna cum laude, in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame. He also received academic honors in earning an MBA from the Harvard Business School. He currently serves on the Boards of Directors of several L Catterton Portfolio Companies in the private and public domain. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the National Board of Review of Motion Pictures and a member of the Advisory Council for the Student-Athlete at the University of Notre Dame.
