Bio

Mr. Dahnke is Global Co-CEO of L Catterton. Mr. Dahnke has a broad range of business experience in private equity, consulting, operating management, and finance. Prior to joining L Catterton over 20 years ago, he was a Managing Director at DB Capital Partners, the private equity arm of Deutsche Bank. Previously he was a Managing Director at AEA Investors, where he led that firm’s investing efforts in the consumer sector. Prior to AEA, Mr. Dahnke was the Chief Executive Officer of infoUSA (now Data Axle), a leading NASDAQ-traded provider of business and consumer marketing products and services (since taken private). InfoUSA was a client of Mr. Dahnke at McKinsey & Company, where he worked with consumer clients on a wide array of strategic and operational opportunities as a Partner in McKinsey’s Chicago office. His early career also includes experience in the Merger Department of Goldman, Sachs & Co. and internationally with General Motors. Mr. Dahnke received a B.S., magna cum laude, in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame. He also received academic honors in earning an MBA from the Harvard Business School. Mr. Dahnke currently serves on the Board of Directors of several L Catterton Portfolio Companies and is the Board Chair of Williams-Sonoma (NYSE: WSM). In the not-for-profit arena, he serves as a Trustee for the University of Notre Dame, Brunswick School, and the National Board of Review of Motion Pictures, in addition to being on the Board of Advisors of the New York Stock Exchange.
