Mr. Ortiz is a Regional Executive Director (Mexico), Latin America at L Catterton. Previously, He was the President of the North Latin America Division at Arcos Dorados, the world’s largest McDonald’s franchise, and a Member of their Management Board. Mr. Ortiz supervised Arcos Dorados’ operations in North Latin America including Mexico and Central America. Prior to Arcos Dorados, he was an Investment Director at Pegasus Capital, in Colombia and Argentina. Previously, he held a series of executive positions at Panamco Colombia (Coca-Cola) from 1978-2002, most recently as CEO, as well as Director of Operations and Executive Vice President. Mr. Ortiz holds an Advanced Management Degree from Harvard Business School and an Economics Degree from Universidad San Buenaventura, Colombia. He resides in Mexico City.
