Mr. Reid is the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel at L Catterton. Mr. Reid first joined the firm in 2014 as Chief Compliance Officer and Deputy General Counsel. Prior to joining L Catterton, Mr. Reid was a Director in the Investment Management Advisory practice at KPMG, where he advised a variety of asset management firms, including some of the largest alternative asset managers in the world, on regulatory compliance and governance, risk and control efforts. He has extensive corporate finance and transactional experience, has advised on a variety of significant and complex corporate governance matters, led fund formation efforts on a number of products, and been intimately involved in the organization of a number of financial services businesses. Mr. Reid began his career in the commercial and investment banking fields, first at Soundview Technology Group and, subsequently, at Wells Fargo Bank. Mr. Reid earned a BS from the University of Oregon and received his JD from the University of San Francisco.
