Ms. Nelson is a Vice President at L Catterton. Prior to joining L Catterton, Courtney was an investor at Coefficient Capital, a consumer-focused growth equity fund. At Coefficient, Courtney led investments in high-growth, tech-enabled consumer companies, specifically focused on brands leveraging media, community and technology. Prior to her position at Coefficient Capital, Courtney was an Associate at BDMI, a venture capital fund backed by the ~$20B multinational media conglomerate, Bertelsmann. She started her career at Greenhill & Co., covering consumer and retail in their Mergers and Acquisitions group. Courtney graduated from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, where she received a BCom with a concentration in Finance and a minor in European History. She currently serves as an advisor for McGill’s Desautels School of Business and is an advisory Board member for Venture for America.
