Ms. Caporello joined L Catterton Europe in 2021 as a Partner based in Milan. Ms. Caporello has been in Private Equity for over 20 years with previous positions at Advent International and Investindustrial with a focus on Concessions businesses, Financial Services, and Luxury industries in Southern Europe. Most recently, from 2016 until 2018, she was the General Manager of the Milan Municipality, running the operations of the city with a yearly budget of €3 billion. Ms. Caporello has served as a non-executive independent director of several companies such as SEA Milan Airports, Anima, GVS, and Credito Fondiario, and has recently served as an advisor and club deal arranger of Italian small-cap buyouts. Ms. Caporello holds a Degree in Economics from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
