Rory Kirkpatrick is a Managing Director, Portfolio Operations, of KPS Capital Partners. KPS, through its affiliated management entities, is the manager of the KPS Special Situations Funds, a family of private equity funds with approximately $21.3 billion of assets under management (as of September 30, 2023, pro forma for the final close of Fund VI and Mid-Cap Fund II)1 focused on making controlling equity investments in manufacturing and industrial companies across a diverse array of industries, including basic materials, branded consumer, healthcare and luxury products, automotive parts, capital equipment and general manufacturing. Prior to joining KPS, Mr. Kirkpatrick was a Managing Director in the Portfolio Operations Team at Centre Lane Partners. Prior to Centre Lane Partners, Mr. Kirkpatrick held several positions with Alcoa Corporation and has held interim and permanent Chief Financial Offer positions in a number of companies. Mr. Kirkpatrick has a B.S. degree in Metallurgical Engineering from University of Illinois and an MBA in Finance and Manufacturing Operations Management from Carnegie Mellon University.
