Jeff Hykin is a Managing Director, Portfolio Operations, of KPS Capital Partners. KPS, through its affiliated management entities, is the manager of the KPS Special Situations Funds, a family of private equity funds with approximately $21.3 billion of assets under management (as of September 30, 2023, pro forma for the final close of Fund VI and Mid-Cap Fund II)1 focused on making controlling equity investments in manufacturing and industrial companies across a diverse array of industries, including basic materials, branded consumer, healthcare and luxury products, automotive parts, capital equipment and general manufacturing. Prior to re-joining KPS in 2017, Mr. Hykin began his association with KPS in 1999 as a member of the Management Team at Blue Ridge Paper Products, the first investment in KPS Fund I. Mr. Hykin first joined the Operations Team in 2009 and in 2013 became the President and Chief Executive Officer of portfolio company, United Copper Industries. Mr. Hykin holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Florida State University and an MBA from the executive program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
