Bio

Travers Garvin (Washington, DC) joined KKR in 2008 and is a member of the Global Public Affairs team. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Garvin was an attorney at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP where he represented clients on public policy matters before Congress and the Administration. Before joining the practice of law, he worked as a policy aide in the U.S. Congress focusing on issues before the Energy and Commerce committee. Mr. Garvin holds a B.A. from the College of the Holy Cross and a J.D., cum laude, from the George Mason University School of Law.
