Bio

Rob Caplan (New York) joined KKR in 2012 and is currently responsible for technology and application development for the firm's Global Risk Strategies group. Prior to his current role, Mr. Caplan was a member of the public markets technology team focusing on KKR's equity trading, accounting and risk systems. Prior to joining KKR, he was a senior technical expert at Chilton Investment Company, a global multi-strategy hedge fund. Prior to that, he worked as an application developer at RBS, focused on their credit derivatives trading & risk systems. Mr. Caplan holds a B.A. in Computer Science from Dartmouth College.
