Bio

Masaki Nakamura (Menlo Park) joined KKR in 2014 and is a member of the Health Care industry team. Prior to moving to Menlo Park in 2019, Mr. Nakamura originally joined KKR Capstone and subsequently became a part of KKR Private Equity in Tokyo in 2016. At KKR, he has been involved with the investments in PHC Holdings (formerly Panasonic Healthcare), Pioneer DJ, Hitachi Kokusai Electric and Thermo Fisher’s Anatomical Pathology business. He is currently a member of the board of directors of Kokusai Electric Corporation. Prior to KKR, he was an engagement manager at McKinsey & Company in their Tokyo, Stuttgart and New Jersey offices, where he focused on operational transformation for a variety of companies in the health care industry. He holds a degree in Medicine (M.D.) from University of Tokyo.
