Jonathan Barokas (New York) joined KKR in 2020 and is a Principal, focusing on private debt and capital markets solutions for financial sponsors and corporate clients. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Barokas was a vice president at Capital Dynamics, where he was involved with the launch of the firm’s private credit strategy. Previously, Mr. Barokas was a senior associate at Ares Management, where he evaluated private debt investments within the firm’s credit group. Mr. Barokas began his career as an investment banking analyst in the financial sponsors group at Wells Fargo Securities. He holds a B.S. in Commerce with a concentration in Finance from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce.
