Bio

Jessica Roy (New York) joined KKR in 2018 and is a member of the Human Capital team, where she supports the investing & distribution groups. Prior to joining KKR, Ms. Roy built and led the Human Capital function at Motive Partners, a global FinTech investment and innovation firm, where she joined the firm as a startup. Previously, Ms. Roy worked at AXIS Capital, where she was senior HR business partner for the AXIS Re division globally. Ms. Roy also spent time at Citi in Campus Recruitment, and began her career at the New York Post, a News Corporation company. Ms. Roy graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a double major in Journalism and Psychology and holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification. She is actively involved in a number of non-profit organizations and serves on the Executive Leadership Council of PENCIL, which fosters collaboration between businesses and NYC public schools.
