Bio

Alan Cheng (San Francisco) joined KKR in 2018 and is a Principal of KKR, focusing on both private debt origination and capital markets solutions for financial sponsors and corporate clients. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Cheng was with Deutsche Bank in the leveraged finance and financial sponsors groups where he was focused on leveraged loan and high yield transactions across a variety of industries and financial sponsors coverage. Previously, Mr. Cheng worked as a management consultant at Deloitte Consulting and was a corps member with Teach For America. He holds a B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
