Bill Bergen became an operating partner with Kirtland in 2018 but has been managing portfolio companies of Kirtland Capital Partners since 2004. Bill is involved in sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities and portfolio management. He led five different businesses ranging in size from $20M to $200M. Most recently, Bill led two former Kirtland portfolio companies, MicroGroup and PVC Container and previously worked at International Paper, Alcan and Allied Signal. Bill earned an MBA from Carnegie Mellon as well as a BSBA from John Carroll University where he was a four year letterman in baseball.
