Roopa Weber is Director, Investor Relations and Operations at Kinzie Capital Partners, where she provides day-to-day oversight of Kinzie’s investor relations, marketing, business administration, operations and compliance functions. Prior to joining Kinzie, Roopa spent 23 years at Ariel Investments where she led its institutional client services group, oversaw the firm’s marketing strategy, played an integral role in various legal and compliance matters, led internal expansion projects and served on the firm’s Operating and Risk Committees. Prior to Ariel Investments, Roopa worked for a Chicago-based fundraising consulting firm and at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. Roopa was selected to join the 2020 Cohort of The Daniel Burnham Fellowship Program through the Leadership Greater Chicago (LGC) and was a 2012 LGC Fellow. Roopa served a two-year term on the Latin School of Chicago’s Data & Strategy Committee and sits on the Gene Siskel Film Center Advisory Board and Strides for Peace Board, as well as the School of the Art Institute of Chicago’s Fashion Council and its Executive Committee. Roopa received a B.A. in French and Psychology from Lake Forest College.
