Bio

Stuart is responsible for originating, analysing and monitoring investment opportunities. Since 2017 he has served as Executive Chairman of DARAG Group Limited, and he is a member of the Firm’s Investment Committee. Stuart has over 30 years’ experience in operational and financial roles, most of which has been gained in the insurance industry. Prior to joining Keyhaven, he was a Group Chief Executive Officer at Sompo Canopius, a global speciality reinsurer with turnover in excess of $1.6 billion, which he joined in 2015. Previous to this Stuart served as Managing Director at Aegis London, a Lloyd’s syndicate, where he spent eleven years. He began his career with Ernst and Young where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Stuart earned a BA in Geography from Kings College London, and an Executive MBA from INSEAD.
