Pramod founded Genpact, a global leader in business process and technology management services, in 1997 and was its Chief Executive Officer till June 2011. He pioneered the Business Process Management industry in India as well as in diverse countries such as China and Eastern Europe. Under his leadership, Genpact created substantial value from being a start-up to an industry leader with market capitalization of US $4 billion. He is now the Vice Chairman of Genpact and the Chairman of the Skills Academy which is building a skills development business in India. Prior to Genpact, Pramod worked with General Electric (GE) and RCA for over 25 years across the U.S., Europe, and Asia and was most recently the head of GE Capital in India and in Asia. He is a Chartered Accountant from Thomson McLintock & Co., London, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Delhi University.
