Bio

Carol Lam is a managing director of investor operations for Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors where she is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing and overseeing policies and procedures related to investor services and the contact management system. Lam was previously a controller in the accounting department prior to joining investor operations. She managed the investment accounting, financial statement and audit preparation, and investor reporting for the hedge funds and three private equity funds. Lam has four years of accounting experience prior to joining Kayne Capital in 2004. Lam earned a B.S. in Accountancy from California State University, Northridge. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of California and is a member of American Institute of CPAs (AICPA).
