Jean is a member of Kartesia’s Investment Team, sourcing, executing and monitoring investments across Europe, with a specific focus on the Benelux market. Before joining Kartesia in January 2015, Jean worked for four years in the acquisition finance team at BNP Paribas CIB, focusing on leveraged and investment grade financings for corporates in Benelux, Central Europe and Turkey, and where he was responsible for analysing deal opportunities, credit risk assessment, financial modelling and negotiating syndicated loan agreements. Jean joined the BNP Paribas group as a management trainee in 2010. Prior to that, Jean began his career in 2009 as a business analyst with Deloitte Consulting. Jean speaks French, Dutch and English fluently. He holds a Master in Business Engineering from the Catholic University Leuven (Belgium) and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Engineering from FUNDP Namur (Belgium).
