Damien is a Founding Partner of Kartesia. In his role, Damien is responsible for overseeing the management and development of the company, more particularly in relation to legal and compliance. When founding Kartesia in 2013, Damien had over 21 years of experience in private equity finance. Before founding Kartesia, Damien was chief investment officer and chairman of the global investment committee at Intermediate Capital Group (ICG), where he also held the position of Co-Head of the French business and led more than twenty mezzanine and equity investments. Prior to ICG, Damien worked at Credit Agricole CIB (formerly Crédit Agricole Indosuez) initially as a credit analyst and then in the leveraged finance team for six years, where he participated in LBO transactions as well as corporate acquisition financings.
