Mr Zalaznick is a Trustee Emeritus of Cornell University, having served as Vice Chairman of the Board, Chairman of the Finance Committee and a member of the Private Equity and Investment Committees. He serves on the Board of Columbia Business School and is a member of its Executive Committee. He also serves on the Board of the Whitney Museum. Mr Zalaznick received a BA from Cornell University and an MBA from Columbia Business School. Prior to co-founding The Jordan Company in 1982, Mr Zalaznick was a Vice President at Carl Marks & Co. In 1986, Mr Zalaznick and Jay Jordan founded Jordan/Zalaznick Advisers, Inc concurrent to launching the predecessor to JZ Capital Partners Ltd. In 1999, Mr Zalaznick and Mr Jordan co-founded JZ International with Jock Green-Armytage.
