Michelle joined JOG in September 2004 and leads JOG's Finance and Administration team, which provides support to JOG on financial reporting, accounting, tax, treasury, regulatory compliance and administration matters. Michelle is a member of JOG’s executive committee. She has extensive experience in professional accounting and financial consulting, both in public practice with large international firms and in the private sector. Michelle worked in Russia and Kazakhstan from 1996 to 2001 in several positions, including Chief Financial Officer of PricewaterhouseCoopers Central Asia, Deputy Chief Financial Officer for an American NASDAQ listed telecoms company with operations in Russia and Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers Moscow. From 1994 to 1996, Michelle worked as Financial Controller for a privately held group of companies in Calgary. She worked with KPMG LLP from 1989 to 1994, focusing on upstream oil and gas, construction and mining companies located in Calgary and Lethbridge, Alberta. Michelle received her CA designation in 1991 and holds a Bachelor of Management degree from the University of Lethbridge.
