Aseem joined JMFPE in September 2020. He has over 18 years of experience in listed Indian equities covering research, fund management and sales. Prior to joining JMFPE, Aseem led the HK Equities desk for JM Financial Institutional Securities for over five years between 2015 and 2020. Prior to JM Financial, he had stints at DSP Blackrock Investment Managers, Religare Capital Markets and CIMB India Securities. At DSP Blackrock, he received the Lipper Award for Best Performance over a 3-year period in the Equity sector Information Technology category for managing the ‘DSP Blackrock Technology.com Fund’. He also led research in Technology, Telecom, Media, and Oil & Gas sectors for the team. At Religare, Aseem identified and wrote seminal research on the structural shift in branded apparels space in India. He serves as a Nominee Director and Observer on the boards of JMFPE’s portfolio companies. Aseem did his B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from IIT, Kanpur, and PGDM from Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. He is also a CFA charter holder.
