Mr. Leibowitz founded JEN Partners in 2005. He is a Managing Director and is responsible for overall management of the firm. Prior to founding JEN Partners, Mr. Leibowitz was responsible for Warburg Pincus’s real estate practice for 20 years. He also helped set and implement Warburg Pincus’ long term strategy, and structure the firm’s operating entities and private equity funds, including finance, legal and tax. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus in 1984, Mr. Leibowitz spent 15 years in public accounting. Mr. Leibowitz received a B.S. from Brooklyn College, an M.B.A. from the Stern School at New York University (NYU), a J.D. from the Brooklyn Law School, and an LLM from NYU School of Law. He is a director of Simon Property Group, the largest U.S. REIT, and was previously a director of four other NYSE listed companies, Chelsea Property, Grubb & Ellis, Lennar and Pacific Greystone.
