Bio

Michael Fertitta is a Managing Director for JDH Capital Company. Mr. Fertitta previously served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Hilcorp Energy Company and Harvest Midstream Company. Prior to Hilcorp and Harvest, Mr. Fertitta served as Assistant General Counsel in the Energy group at Och-Ziff Capital Management in New York City, and previously as an associate in the Energy and Natural Resources practice group at Kelly Hart & Hallman in Fort Worth, Texas. Mr. Fertitta graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1998 and earned his law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2001. He currently serves on the Board of Directors at Small Steps Nurturing Center, the Board of Directors of the Forty Acres Society at the University of Texas, and the Board of Trustees at Texas Children’s Hospital.
