Michael Tuchschmid, Swiss national, joined Jacobs Holding AG in January 2009 as Corporate Secretary and was appointed CFO in 2016. As CFO / Corporate Secretary, Michael is responsible for finance, HR and corporate legal affairs. Michael started his career as an auditor at KPMG in 1999. Afterwards he held various positions in the legal industry. He worked as law clerk at the Commercial Court of Aargau and as attorney at law at a Zurich based law firm where he focused on contract law, commercial litigation and arbitration and sports law. Michael has completed a Master of Law at the University of Zurich and, in addition, has studied at the University of Paris X. He was awarded a Master of Laws (LL.M.) by the Bond University, Australia. He is a member of the Zurich Bar Association (inactive status).
