Previously Gary, a founding investor in Corporate Express, served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, responsible for developing and executing key elements of the firm?s strategy including the successful completion of numerous public and private financing transactions, including its successful IPO and secondary offerings, many public and private mergers and acquisitions, a leveraged recapitalization, and negotiation of its 1999 merger for $2.3 Billion with Buhrmann N.V.
