Ms. Steffens joined JFLCO in 2006 and manages the administration of the firm’s private equity fund vehicles and operations effort. Her primary responsibilities include oversight of fund accounting and financial reporting, communications with limited partners and coordination of the funds’ Advisory Committees and Operating Executive Board. Prior to joining the firm, she was a Risk Consultant and Project Manager for the Shaw Group. Ms. Steffens also brings nine years of investment banking experience to the firm, having served as a Director at Deutsche Bank and a Vice President at Goldman Sachs. Ms. Steffens began her career as an Intelligence Analyst / Engineer for the C.I.A. A native of Maryland, Ms. Steffens earned B.S. degrees in mechanical engineering and French from M.I.T. and an M.B.A. from the Yale University School of Management.
