Bio

Since joining J-STAR as a founding member in 2006, Tatsuya Yumoto has been involved in origination, execution, monitoring, and exiting. Mr. Yumoto's supervising investments include Paiza, Periplus, Itty, Section Eight, Sun Smile, ASIRO, NHS, Nurse Call, Tokai Trim, Apo Plus Station, Tokachi, and Tachibana. Prior to joining J-STAR, Mr. Yumoto worked at JAFCO, where he performed investments for Medical Tribune and Showa Yakuhin Kako. At JAFCO, he also gained experience in venture capital investments for companies in the information, electronics, logistics and service industries. He oversaw investments for 11 companies and planned exit strategies for 9 companies, 2 of which were IPO exits. Mr. Yumoto received a bachelor's degree from Hitotsubashi University.
