Kazumasa Ohara is responsible for portfolio company's value-up activities. Mr. Ohara's supervising investment includes Honest, Yokoi Manufacturing, Alpha Corporation and TSS. Prior to joining J-STAR in 2015, Mr. Ohara was Chief Financial Officer at Flowell Corporation, a fluororesin fittings manufacturer and the first company in Japan that developed fluororesin as industrial goods; and was involved in strategic planning, financial management and capitalization strategy. He was also in charge of Production Division; planning and execution of purchasing strategy, supply chain improvement, cost control and inventory management. Mr. Ohara began his carrier at The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi. In Corporate Division of BTM, he provided various solutions, including asset-based lending, trade finance, syndicated loan, foreign exchange hedging, and support for medium sized companies for their overseas expansion. Mr. Ohara received a bachelor's degree from Kobe University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (US CPA) and a Certified Coach of Foundation of Global Life Learning Center.
