Ted was the President and CEO of Golden Corral Corporation for 25 years before transitioning to Investors Management Corporation as a Director. Ted holds a B.A. from Abilene Christian University and completed the Graduate School of Business Administration’s Executive Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1989. Ted started his career with Sambo’s Restaurants in Santa Barbara, CA, before joining Golden Corral in 1977. He became President and CEO in 1989, winning more than half a dozen awards for distinction in foodservice and hospitality during his tenure. He is a Past Chairman of the National Restaurant Association and currently serves on the board for IMC, where he has been a Director since 2015. Ted is married to Glenda Fowler and has two adult children and five grandchildren.
